LSC Croatia Holiday - Elicia I

  • A first we thought we'd all get togethe and head out to Croatia for a week of sailing, sites and fun. It worked out pretty well. The four skippers lead their courageous crews across the Croatian islands. We visited: -Hvar -Scedro -Kastela (most of us) -Lastavo -Vis

    We're in the harbour of Komiza on the South West corner of Vis. Yesterday we were on the island of Lastovo. We stopped there for a whole day, two nights. On arrival we partyed pretty hard after having watched the sun drop into the sea. I think there's alog entry that covers this but I'll gaze over what happened anyway. During the day when we eventually came to we hired some scooters and travelled into the town in the middle of the island which was amazing. It was set on a sort of amphithere style hill with vin yards and forrests at the bottom and all around.

    We explored the town searching for the restaurant that had been kindly recomended by a sunsail skipper the day before. After having found that we wer a little early we explored the sleepy/almost abandoned town for a bar. Pivo being the only word we knew in Croatian managed to get us there.

    Day 4- it's quite a late lunch. We need a chillout room on the deck. There is a reoccuring conversation of mutiny, I'm not sure they'd stick to a plan long enough to make it happen. Watched subset yesterday engine off with some wine.
    The suggested entry for today was 'situation normal', what is normal? And where do I find it?
    We suxesscully raided a german boat however lost a bottle of vodkA. No stowaways Jemma to retire in croatian sleepsville and set up urban underground hip hop scene plus scooter gang or sex shop. Light activated clay guns to be added to future incompetent crew kit list. Bouncy castle and merry Christmas lights also discussed. inflatable doll at bow an option. Jemma shared heart shaped bruises, consequence of wine induced water-boarding by Skippy, our most "respected" captain. [mutiny plan - nearly there. Supermarket dingy ready to set "the boss" adrift.

    Ships log day - Day 3 / 10h00

    Last night we pontooned up in Luka Loviste. There was a flotilla of five sunsail couples and a lead boat, the lead skipper wasn too keen on us pontooning up, not sure why but eventually was happy for us to pontoon one and stern-to Anne boat onto the end of the pier. Sand on the ground which we've found not to have an excellent holding but it was nice and sheltered.

    Steve mis-understood where we were going and ended up on the west end of the island and Ian motored ahead to Korcula.

    We found a lovely restaurant on quayside called Gardina run by a nice German chap who brews his own wine. We all sat around candle-lit table and dinner to a nice local croatian chap who was played his guitar and sang along. After dinner we got him and the Sunsail skipper over who drank with us and sung local croatian songs with the other skippers. sea-girl trap girl.
