We're in the harbour of Komiza on the South West corner of Vis. Yesterday we were on the island of Lastovo. We stopped there for a whole day, two nights. On arrival we partyed pretty hard after having watched the sun drop into the sea. I think there's alog entry that covers this but I'll gaze over what happened anyway. During the day when we eventually came to we hired some scooters and travelled into the town in the middle of the island which was amazing. It was set on a sort of amphithere style hill with vin yards and forrests at the bottom and all around.
We explored the town searching for the restaurant that had been kindly recomended by a sunsail skipper the day before. After having found that we wer a little early we explored the sleepy/almost abandoned town for a bar. Pivo being the only word we knew in Croatian managed to get us there.
We found a nice bar at the top of the bowl and grabbed some small beers and I grabbed an ice cream. We were all a little tired from the night before and hadn't had lunch. We met a really nice american couple who had been travelling around the island by ferry and had explored all the local bits. They had met two brothers who had learnt how to make wine in italy and had brought over the skill to lastovo and only sold out of their house.
We had dinner in the only restaurant there which called somthing baracula good food in a rustic surounding although I was almost falling asleep.
